Welcome to Light in Darkness! This website provides an introduction to the work of Alyssa (“Lyra”) H. Pitstick. The title is taken from that of her published dissertation, which itself alludes, of course, to John 1:5:

And the light shineth in the darkness:
and the darkness did not comprehend it.
